ABOUT THIS EVENT
We are hosting a two hour nurturing experience of Yoga & Sound Healing at Alexandra Palace, in the Creativity Pavillion located in the East Court.
Join Alice and Kate as they guide you through a gentle yoga and breath-work class (no experience is necessary). Followed by a restorative Sound Bath, soothing you and supporting you to feel calmer, grounded and rested.
EVENT THEME
As we enter January we are still in the depths of winter and that means it is a time of reflection and rest. And so, this session will not focus on new beginnings or resolutions, but it will give you a moment to pause and take a deep breath.
THIS EVENT INCLUDES:
Yoga & Breath-Work (NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY)
Journalling
Sound Healing
Sharing Circle
MORE ABOUT SOUND HEALING:
The soothing sounds of the crystal singing bowls, singing pyramid and chimes will take you on a journey through the chakras. The sounds of these bowls resonate at many different healing frequencies that correspond to each of the chakras / energy centers, helping to bring about balance and harmony and remove any stagnant energy, or anything that is causing us dis-harmony.
Scientifically speaking, the sound frequencies slow our brainwaves down, quietening down our minds and allowing us to drift into a floaty dreamlike meditative state. This also allows our nervous system to rest, digest, restore and repair.
